Which is better for the climate?

High-recycled-content aluminum in a region with good collection is a genuinely strong choice; a virgin can tossed in a landfill squandered the whole advantage.
What should I actually do at the shelf?
Buy the format, not the material. Concentrates, refills, and bulk formats cut both packaging weight and trips — they outscore both a virgin glass jar and a virgin plastic bottle.
